On 15 November 2025, NoJack Vehicle Tracking received intelligence regarding a load of suspected stolen copper that was allegedly being transported from Waterval Boven to Boksburg.
Acting on the information received, surveillance units tracked the bakkie carrying the load to Witfield, Boksburg, where the suspects allegedly offloaded the copper. Following the drop-off, responding units moved in and successfully intercepted the vehicle.
The operation resulted in the apprehension of six suspects on scene. A large quantity of cash was also found inside the vehicle and seized as evidence.
