A coordinated intelligence-driven operation conducted on Friday night, 22 August, led to the recovery of a large quantity of suspected stolen property in Western Extension, Benoni.
The operation was launched after credible information was received regarding a residence allegedly being used as a storage and distribution point for property linked to house robberies and business break-ins across surrounding areas.
Acting swiftly on the intelligence, multiple crime prevention and community safety units mobilised and executed the operation in a coordinated effort aimed at disrupting criminal activity and recovering stolen goods before they could be moved or sold further.
Significant Recovery Made
During the operation, teams successfully recovered a substantial haul of suspected stolen property, including:
Two brand new Big Boy scooters — one linked to a Benoni case, one linked to a Brakpan case
Multiple bicycles
Tools and equipment
Television sets
Various household items believed to be linked to robbery and theft cases

All recovered property was booked into Benoni SAPS 13 for further investigation and identification.
Community members who may be missing similar items are encouraged to visit Benoni Police Station to determine whether any recovered property belongs to them.
Strong Multi-Agency Coordination

The success of the operation was made possible through close cooperation between law enforcement, private security, community policing structures, and local safety organisations.
Units involved included:
Benoni SAPS
Community in Blue
Afriforum Benoni
Trio Risk Management
CPF Benoni
NoJack Operations
Crime Wardens
Cartrack
Operational members worked together throughout the evening to secure the location, process recovered items, and assist investigators with evidence collection and case linkage.
Standing Firm Against Crime
Operations of this nature continue to demonstrate the importance of intelligence sharing, rapid coordination, and strong community partnerships in combating organised property crime within local communities.
By working together across multiple sectors, response teams are able to identify criminal hotspots, recover stolen property, and place increasing pressure on individuals involved in theft and robbery networks.

NoJack Operations praised all participating teams and community members whose vigilance and cooperation contributed to the successful outcome of the operation.
Every successful recovery represents more than stolen property returned — it represents another step toward restoring safety, accountability, and stability within the community.
